Firm status
Merit Consulting Partners, LLC is a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Wyoming, operating as a management and financial consulting firm.
Merit Consulting Partners, LLC is not a licensed certified public accounting firm. The firm is not registered with the board of accountancy of any jurisdiction, and it does not hold itself out as a CPA firm.
Services we do not provide
We do not provide, and nothing on this site should be read as an offer to provide:
- Attest services. We do not perform audits, reviews, compilations, examinations, agreed-upon procedures engagements, or any other service that results in the issuance of a report expressing assurance on financial statements or other subject matter.
- Tax return preparation or tax opinions. We do not prepare federal, state, or local tax returns, and we do not issue tax opinions. We routinely model the financial consequences of tax elections and structures, and we coordinate with your tax advisor on implementation, but the tax position itself is theirs to take.
- Legal services. We are not attorneys and do not practice law. Our work on entity structure, governance, and transaction documentation is financial and operational in nature and is performed in coordination with your legal counsel. Retain a licensed attorney for legal advice.
- Investment advice. We are not registered investment advisers or broker-dealers. We do not recommend, offer, or sell securities, and we do not provide personalized investment advice. Our capital-raise support is limited to preparation of financial information, materials, and analysis.
- Assurance on any information we prepare. Financial statements, forecasts, models, and reports we prepare are management-use work product. They are not audited, reviewed, or compiled, and no assurance is expressed or implied on them. Management remains responsible for the financial statements and for the assumptions in any forecast.
Individual credentials
Individual professionals at Merit Consulting Partners may hold professional licenses or certifications. Any such credential belongs to the individual, is disclosed where applicable, and does not extend to the firm or alter the firm's status described above. Services are delivered by the firm as consulting services, not as professional accounting services rendered in the capacity of a licensee.
Use of artificial intelligence
We use artificial intelligence tools in the delivery of our services and in the processes we design for clients. Our practice is as follows:
- AI-generated output is treated as a draft. It is reviewed by a qualified professional before it reaches a client, and no deliverable is issued on the basis of unreviewed AI output.
- The processes in which AI is used, and the human review points within them, are documented for each engagement.
- Before an engagement begins, we define in writing which tools may process client information, what categories of data are excluded, and applicable retention terms.
- AI tools can produce inaccurate output. Professional review is the control, and responsibility for our work product rests with us regardless of the tools used to produce it.
Clients may request that AI tools not be used in their engagement.
Results and representative experience
Descriptions of prior engagements, roles, and outcomes on this site — including those in individual biographies — reflect work performed at Merit Consulting Partners or at prior organizations, as indicated. Prior results do not guarantee or predict a similar outcome in any future engagement. Figures describing prior employers or client organizations are provided for context and are not representations by Merit Consulting Partners as to those organizations' current condition.
Except where a client has expressly consented, we do not identify clients by name.
No client relationship
Contacting us, submitting a form, or reading this site does not create a client relationship. A relationship begins only when both parties execute a written engagement letter that defines scope, fees, and responsibilities.
Please do not send confidential or sensitive information through the contact form. Wait until we have established a secure channel and an engagement is in place.
