1. Who we are
Merit Consulting Partners, LLC ("Merit," "we," "us," or "our") is a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Wyoming, providing management and financial consulting services. Our registered office is 1603 Capitol Ave, Ste 415 PMB 111994, Cheyenne, WY 82001-4562. Our client operations are based in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex.
This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through consultmerit.com (the "Site").
2. Scope, and what this policy does not cover
This policy covers information collected through the Site.
It does not cover client information. Information we receive in the course of a consulting engagement — your financial records, general ledger data, employee compensation information, contracts, and similar material — is governed by the confidentiality provisions of your engagement letter and by our professional obligations, not by this policy. Those obligations are more protective than what is described here.
3. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit our contact form, email us, or schedule a call, we collect what you choose to provide. Our form requests:
- Name, email address, and company name (required)
- Phone number, industry, approximate revenue range, a description of what prompted you to reach out, and how you heard about us (optional)
Please do not send confidential or sensitive information through the Site. The contact form is not a secure channel. If we need financial records or other sensitive material, we will establish a secure method for transmitting it.
Information collected automatically
Our website platform and analytics tools collect standard technical information when you visit:
- IP address and approximate geographic location derived from it
- Browser type, device type, and operating system
- Pages viewed, time on page, and referring URL
- Date and time of access

The Site uses cookies. Strictly necessary cookies support core functionality and cannot be disabled. Analytics cookies help us understand how the Site is used and are set only with your consent where consent is required. 4. How we use information
We use information collected through the Site to:

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes, and we do not engage in targeted advertising based on it.
5. Legal basis for processing
Where required by applicable law, we process personal information on the basis of your consent (which you may withdraw at any time), our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries and operating the Site, and our need to comply with legal obligations.

We share information with vendors who perform services for us, only to the extent needed to perform those services. These currently include:

7. Artificial intelligence
We use AI tools in the delivery of our consulting services. Information submitted through the Site's contact form is not used to train third-party AI models.
Our practices governing AI use in client engagements — including which tools may process client information, what categories of data are excluded, and applicable retention terms — are defined in writing for each engagement and described in our Disclosures.
8. Retention
We retain contact form submissions and related correspondence for as long as needed to respond and, where a relationship develops, for the duration of that relationship plus any period required for legal, tax, or professional recordkeeping. Inquiries that do not lead to an engagement are retained for [24 months] and then deleted.
Analytics data is retained according to the settings of the analytics provider identified above.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Request confirmation of whether we process your personal information, and access to it
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information
- Obtain a portable copy of information you provided
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Opt out of the sale of personal information or targeted advertising — neither of which we engage in
Texas residents have these rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act. To exercise them, contact us at info@consultmerit.com. We will respond within 45 days, and may extend that period once by an additional 45 days where reasonably necessary, with notice to you. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. If we decline a request, you may appeal by writing to the same address; if the appeal is denied, you may contact the Texas Attorney General.
Residents of other jurisdictions may have comparable rights. Contact us and we will honor them where applicable law requires.
10. Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These include access controls, encryption in transit, and vendor selection with attention to security posture.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. This is the reason for the caution in Section 3 about not sending sensitive material through the Site.
11. Children
The Site is directed to businesses and business professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have, we will delete it.
12. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Review the privacy policy of any site you visit.
13. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, communicated directly. Continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
